Our Facilities
Osborne House is a Victorian house beautifully located overlooking the Severn Estuary..
We aim to provide a facility that makes sense to the people who live here. This means that Osborne House is likely to be more cluttered than you might expect, however this is what people with a dementia need and we are more than happy to explain how this helps improve wellbeing.
Sleeping Environment
Residents are encouraged to fill their rooms with reminiscence items to help stimulate happy memories and maintain a sense of wellbeing, comfort and security. Bedroom doors are furnished as an outside front door to increase the sense of independence and residents may choose their own colour for the bedroom door to further increase their sense of are encouraged to make reminiscence boards to hang on walls outside their room to aid recognition of where the room is and inside the room as part of the familiar furnishings.
Rooms are furnished to a high standard and include Edwardian ceramics which are attractive, reminiscent and easy to use.
